Duties and taxes
Internationally shipped packages may be subject to customs and import fees. The exact amount of these fees are determined by your local customs laws.
We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information on import taxes, customs duties, and handling fees.
For more info about your local customs laws or how to contact your local customs office, visit our 'Learn More' page.
Sometimes taxes imposed by your local government may be more than the order value depending on the country. Please make sure to check with local experts before placing your order. Orders that cannot be cleared through customs and orders which are refused by customers due to such fees are destroyed or abandoned in most cases. Destroyed or abandoned orders are not eligible for refunds.
How to check if duties and taxes are included at checkout
With 'Prepaid Duties & Taxes' shipping options, also known as 'DDP', all the import taxes will be included when you place your order. Your package will be processed through customs quicker and you will not need to pay handling fees to the carrier at a later time.
How to check if DDP is available for your shipping address:
- Add items to cart.
- Enter your zip/postal code to view available shipping methods.
- If a DDP shipping method is available, the carrier option will state 'Duties & Taxes included'.
If there are no DDP shipping options currently offered for your country, don't worry! We are actively working on offering this shipping method for countries where it may currently be offered.
If your shipping option does not include prepaid duties & taxes (this will be disclosed in cart) we suggest that you track your order once in 2-3 days to make sure the order is not stuck at customs. If you do not see a customs clearance event or if your order is at customs for too long, this is likely due to you having to pay duties & taxes.
