If you think someone is trying to take over your account—or already has—we’ll work with you to secure it. For your protection, we may place a temporary hold on your account.
Whenever there is suspicious activity related to your account, it’s important to act quickly. If you think your account is compromised, first check whether anyone with access to your account made changes to it or used it to shop with us.
Signs your account may have been compromised
You may notice some or all of the following if you account has been compromised:
- Changes to the account password, address, or contact information.
- You have received a password reset email that you did not initiate.
- This doesn't necessarily mean that anyone has accessed your account but iHerb recommends a password change.
- You have received a password reset email that you did not initiate.
- Return/Refund requests that you did not make.
- Purchases that are unknown to you.
- Your payment information has changed.
- Unusual rewards activity such as an unauthorized cash out.
What to do next?
If you received an email confirming an order that you did not place, you noticed any unfamiliar order(s), or suspect any unauthorized activity, you should change your password and then contact your credit card company and/or bank immediately.
Also, send an email immediately to our verification team at verify@iherb.com. Be sure to include:
- The suspicious order number.
- Describe the unusual activity from your account (if any).
- If you still have access to your account, please change your password first to a more complex one with a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols.
