Add Delivery Instructions, Access Codes and Notes for Your Order

Important Notes

• Adding delivery instructions, access codes and notes for orders is only available for customers in the United States.
• What NOT to Include: Avoid requests that are outside the carrier's standard delivery procedures (e.g., asking them to call you at a specific time before arrival). Do not include overly sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary for delivery access.
• Carrier Discretion: While carriers will do their best to follow your instructions, they must also prioritize their safety and follow their company policies. In some situations, they may not be able to accommodate every request.

Method 1: Adding Instructions During Checkout

After proceeding to the checkout experience:

1. Select Change In the Shipping Information section.
2. Choose to “Add a new shipping address”. (Even if you're just adding notes to an existing address, this flow allows access to the instruction field).
3. Select the blue link that says “Add preferences, notes, access codes and more” (or similar wording). Enter the notes or instructions here.
4. Once you've added your instructions, select “Save and Continue” (or a similar button like "Save”").
5. Crucially, ensure this newly added or updated address (with your notes) is selected as the shipping address for your current order.

Method 2: Adding Instructions In Your Account's Address Book

You can also proactively add delivery instructions to any address stored in your account.

1. Navigate to the Address Book section of My Account.
2. Select “+Add New Address” to add a new shipping address or choose to edit an existing address.
3. Select Add preferences, notes, access codes and more (or similar wording).
4. Enter your delivery instructions.
5. Select “Save Address” or “Save and Continue”.

Simply select this address for your orders and the saved delivery instructions will automatically be included for the carrier. 

Remember that delivery notes are saved to a specific shipping address in your address book. If you have multiple addresses, ensure you have added the notes to the correct ones.
