Rewards Program FAQ

Here are straightforward answers to common questions about earning, tracking, and using your Rewards. For full program details, please visit our official iHerb Rewards Program FAQ

Earning Rewards

How do I earn Rewards from referrals?

You earn Rewards every time someone shops using your personalized Rewards link or code:

  • 10% in Rewards for new iHerb customers.
  • 5% in Rewards for returning customers.

Where am I allowed to share my Rewards link or code?

You can share your link or code on your personal channels, including email, social media, messaging apps, your personal blog, or your iHerb storefront.

Prohibited channels: You cannot promote your link or code through paid advertising, coupon/deal websites, or any method that violates our Terms of Use. Please also ensure your posts comply with all legal disclosure requirements in your country.

How much do I earn for writing product reviews?

You earn $1.00 USD in Rewards for each eligible, approved review.

  • You can earn Rewards on up to 40 approved reviews per calendar year (the limit resets every January 1st).
  • Note: Reviews submitted before June 1, 2026, do not count toward this annual limit.

Do I still earn Rewards if I leave a negative review?

Yes! We value authentic customer feedback. As long as your review reflects a genuine experience and follows our review guidelines, it is eligible for Rewards—whether the rating is positive or negative.

Tracking & Availability

How do I check my Rewards Credit balance?

You can check your available and pending balances anytime on your Rewards Overview page. To see exactly how you earned your credits, check the Recent Transactions table on that same page.

When will my pending Rewards Credits become available to use?

Availability depends on how the credit was earned:

Earning Method Time Until Available Reason
Reviews Usually immediate Applies to the first 10 approved reviews per 24-hour period.
Referrals 35 days The pending period accounts for potential canceled orders, chargebacks, or returns.

Expiration & Communications

How long do I have to use my Rewards Credits before they expire?

  • Standard Rewards (Referrals & Reviews): Valid for 30 days after they are issued (effective June 1, 2026). Credits earned prior to this date retain their original expiration dates.
  • Promotional Rewards: Expiration timelines vary based on the specific offer. Check the terms of the promotion for exact dates.

What are Promotional Rewards?

Promotional Rewards are special credits earned through limited-time offers. They can be applied to future iHerb purchases before they expire, but unlike standard Rewards, they cannot be cashed out.

Why am I not getting emails about my Rewards or expirations?

To receive expiration reminders, monthly summaries, and earning notifications, you need to opt in. Go to your Communication Preferences page and ensure the "My Rewards" box is checked.

Account Troubleshooting

Why is my iHerb Rewards account paused or blocked?

If we detect suspicious activity or a violation of our Terms of Use, your account may be paused or blocked to prevent fraud.

  • If paused or blocked: You cannot earn new Rewards Credits or request cash outs.
  • If blocked: All pending and available Rewards Credits will be permanently reset to zero.

If you believe this was done in error, please review our Terms of Use or contact support for clarification.
