This guide will walk you through the real-name authorization process using the EZ WAY App or manual document submission, depending on which carrier is delivering your order.
Important Pre-requisite: To receive EZ WAY App push notifications, the consignee name (in Chinese), ID number, and mobile phone number on your iHerb order must exactly match your EZ WAY registration details.
Whether you selected Global Air Home Delivery with Tracking or Global Air Pickup with Tracking, you must authorize every single shipment imported into Taiwan. Please locate your assigned carrier below and follow the corresponding steps.
YD Express (ACS) Shipments
For orders shipped via YD Express, you must respond to customs authorization for every package.
Option 1: EZ WAY App (Recommended)
If you are already registered on the EZ WAY app, verifying your shipment is quick and easy:
- Wait to receive an EZ WAY App push notification for your current shipment.
- Open the EZ WAY App.
- Tap Real-Name Authorization (海關實名委任).
- Tap Confirm (申報相符) to authorize this specific shipment.
Option 2: Manual Submission If you do not use the app, you must submit physical documents to the customs broker before your order arrives in Taiwan to avoid delays.
- Download and complete the Letter of Authorization (LOA) form found at the bottom of this article. Make sure to include the Tracking Number and Entruster information.
- Sign and stamp the form.
- Make a copy of your National ID or Alien Resident Certificate (front and back).
- Write "For iHerb's Customs Declaration Purpose only" on the ID copies to protect your personal information.
- Attach the ID copies to your completed LOA.
Submit your manual YD Express documents via:
- Website: Upload copies directly to the YD Express (ACS) website

Important Customs Policies
Please keep the following guidelines in mind to ensure a smooth delivery experience:
- Submit Promptly: Respond to the EZ WAY app or submit your manual documents as soon as your order ships. Your package will be held at customs until authorization is received, which can cause significant delays.
- Customs Detention Fees: If your customs declaration is not completed within 15 days of the parcel arriving in Taiwan, Taiwan Customs may charge you a detention fee of NT$200 per day.
- Order Delays and Refunds: Failure to verify your identity may result in order delays, package confiscation, or return to the sender. This will also compromise iHerb's ability to issue a refund. iHerb is not liable for packages held or confiscated by customs due to missing authorizations.
