Troubleshooting Declined Card Payments

We recommend ensuring that:

  • The card and bank are enabled for 3D Secure (3DS) verification. Confirm with your bank or card provider that 3DS verification is enabled for the card.
  • The card data is entered accurately.
  • You do not use extra spaces in your card number.
  • There is sufficient balance to cover the purchase. If using a prepaid card, add a few dollars more than needed for the purchase to cover any hidden transaction fees the card provider may charge.
  • The card is activated or has not expired.
  • The card can be used for online purchases.
  • The card can be used for international purchases.
  • For VISA gift cards, use the name the card is registered under. If the gift card is not registered under the purchaser or the recipient, please enter UNEMBOSSED NAME in the name field.
  • The card has not exceeded the daily withdrawal or purchase limit.

If you are still experiencing issues, we recommend contacting the financial institution, card issuer, or third-party payment provider for help (Apple Pay, Klarna, KakaoPay, etc.). They will be able to assist you further.
