Your order may be split into multiple shipments for a few key reasons, which can result in you receiving multiple separate shipping notifications and tracking numbers for each package.
Common Reasons for Split Orders
- Faster Delivery 🚀: To get your items to you as quickly as possible, we may ship them from different fulfillment centers. Items that are ready sooner will ship out first, while others may ship a little later. This ensures you're not waiting on one item to be processed before the rest of your order can be shipped.
- Carrier Weight Limits ⚖️: Carriers have weight restrictions for individual packages. If your order is too heavy to ship in a single box, we'll split it into multiple packages to comply with these limits and ensure a safe delivery.
- Item Quantity 📦: Orders with a large number of products may need to be divided into several packages. This helps prevent damage and ensures a smoother delivery process by not overwhelming a single package with too many items.
How Will I Be Charged?
You will not be charged multiple times for a split order. While you may see multiple, smaller charges on your bank statement as each package ships, these charges will only add up to the total cost of your original order.
How to Track a Split Order
Each package in a split order will have its own unique tracking number. While all packages will share the same main order number, a dash and an additional number will be added to the end of the order number to distinguish each shipment (e.g., 987398714-0, 987398714-1).
You can find all tracking details for each package on your Orders page.
